Sitara Foods was founded by two sisters, Aparna and Shravya, from Hyderabad, India. With their family’s 33-year old pickle recipe, they started small by hiring local grandmothers to work in their kitchen and selling their produce locally. As orders grew, the sisters knew they were onto something special, and turned to Google Ads to help them promote it online. Soon enough, they were reaching people in India and around the world who were searching for ‘traditional pickles’, ‘Regi Pallu’, ‘chicken pickles’, and more.
By getting their ads seen in the right place, at the right time, by the right people, that little pickle business next door now employs 50 people, and serves 900 customers a month.
